…inspiring passion for and participation in the arts.
High School Juried Show Alumni Wanted
Since 1987 we’ve honored, celebrated and awarded the best of the best high school artists during the annual high school juried art show. So we are marking our landmark 30 year anniversary with an exhibition!
The exhibition chair, Tom Prestopnik, a retired art teacher from both MCHS and SFHS has made a personal appeal to help us find as many as our alumni as possible. Here are the details, as they stand:
Tom Prestopnik with SFHS and HSJAS alumni, Tony Di Terlizzi
This will be a juried competition and we would like to include all varieties of art including commercial art of any kind, body art, fine art, architecture, photography, etc. We want to showcase the production of your art as it stands today. We are looking for past students who are now employed in some form of art career, or are doing their own personal art for pleasure and relaxation. If you know of other artists who might not be on my list please pass along this information. Visit The Arts Council’s web site (www.martinarts.org) for more information. Entry form attached.
If you have any questions you may contact Jennifer Hearn at (772)287-6676 ext 6, or you may contact me at my email address below. I hope to hear from many of you and wish to have a very successful art show next summer.
Sincerely, Tom Prestopnik tjpresto2002@yahoo.com
